Many pet owners are using human meters like the Relion types that are at Walmart that abbott labs makes for them. Reason is that the strips for the alphatrack are so so expensive. I have a older cat that also has heart issues plus she has been diabetic for over 3 years and it is germaine that we get her better regulated. I also read that the meters could have a 20% variance either way. I am also looking for something that tells me how to interpret numbers from a alphatrack for pets and what is the normal range?
